You can register 50c domain names when special promo is available. The last time I registered .com for 50 cent here was month of May. The Online ran a promo on namepros forum where they offered 50c coupon for domain registration. You can check their domain promo page for latest coupons and offers.
Long time ago Godaddy had such kind of domain promo where one could register domain name for 50 cents or a dollar. Now they don’t offer it. Their .com have shooted up beyond $15 and so are the domain renewal cost. The Online also has some on-going promo like 1$ .com domains but I could not find that email I received. If you are current customer and have domain in your account you are eligible to register 2nd domain name for $1 with promo link. There is no coupon. And its one time.
The-Online.com is better alternative to spaceship. I registerd domain at spaceship using the coupon code and they banned my account and also the domain registered. Read spaceship’s trustpilot reviews. Loads of complaints. The Online is comparatively better, they don’t ban the account for multiple use of coupon codes but their promo are quite limited and ends fast. Seems lots of users grab the coupons and there is limited inventory.
