I am interested to buy shared web hosting plan from Interserver and will be hosting a site about manga/comics plus user generated content. Does anyone knows if interserver ignores DMCA complaints and abuse?

No. Interserver is based in U.S. and also has server locations in USA. Interserver is strict about DMCA and other abuse and gives 24 hours to takedown the content or they’ll suspend your account.
You mean interserver.net? The answer is no. Interserver is not a DMCA ignored hosting provider. Unlike most U.S. based web hosting companies they’ll ask their user to take down the infringing content in 24 hrs.
