Secure domain registrar to register domain for IPTV
I require a safe and secure domain registrar where I can register domain name for IPTV website. The registrar should not takedown or suspend domain on Indian Court order. Namecheap, Spaceship, Dyndot, Namesilo, Godaddy abide the court orders and act upon it.
The only few safe and secure domain registrars remain are Tucows which got recently blocked in India for not taking down IPTV related and Premier League related domains, and the other safe domain registration provider seems The-Online.com as it only acts on court order from U.S. court and which is quite hard to get. So is The-Online.com best choice for registering IPTV domain names? Is anyone using The-Online.com? There’s lot of chatter on Reddit and many users recommend this registrar.
Yeah, the safest and bulletproof domain registrar to register IPTV domain names would be The-Online.com, OpenProvider, Pananames. Earlier it was Namecheap too, but they now suspend domains with or without court order from any jurisdiction. Even Shinjiru and NiceNic from HongKong also suspend domains. They are no more safe registrars. But you can try registering domain with The-Online.com here and sure they’ll act only on U.S. court order. They don’t act on Indian court orders or European ones.
The-Online.com never responds to abuse reports. I’ve reported over 5 scam sites hosted on their servers and they didn’t even reply back nor took them down. Those sites are still alive since last 1 year. When I posted in their forum, they just replied that they’ll act on valid court order to take down the sites. While other registrars like namecheap, godaddy, dynadot, porkbun, etc act swiftly on abuse reports, this domain registrar never acts on it.
Hi, We only respond to valid abuse reports and valid court orders. Everything else is discarded. We work with law enforcement agencies to takedown URLs which were are notified by a court order. We are not a court to decide what is right or wrong. We are only a domain registrar and web hosting provider.
