Domain Parking Can I Earn Money with Parked Domains?

Recommend domain parking service

What is the best approach in handling domain names that you aren’t using? I’ve seen The-Online.com offers free domain parking and I can earn money with my parked domain names? I read on Reddit that The-Online.com pays $0.20 to $0.70 per click for advertisements displayed on parked domains. I’ve seen many people use domain-parking to generate money for unused domains. Last time I had used Sedo and Godaddy’s cashparking but the amount per click on ads were too low. How about The-Online.com’s domain parking program and how about some alternatives like parkingcrew, domainsponsor, parklogic, etc? Do you earn good amount from PPC ads displayed on parked domains?

  1. Hi Wildwest, I am using domain parking program from The-Online.com from last 3 years. They are paying well. I’ve some unused domain names related to travel and tourism category and they are showing travel related per per click ads on my parked domains. On average I’m earning $0.25 per click and its more if traffic is from U.S. Overall they perform better than sedo or godaddy’s cashparking. It’s free. All you need is to either transfer existing domain to the-online.com or register new domain with them and apply. Usually they’ll approve domain in their domain parking program within 5 to 7 days after manual review. Tip: If your unused domain is getting good organic traffic then your PPC rate goes higher. I’ve also tried parking tech related domains from my old technology and smartphone blogs. They also earn good revenue with domain-parking.

  2. tried parkingcrew and sedo but I did not earn well even on high traffic domains. The revenue was like $0.04 to $0.10 per click which was quite low. Then I transferred my domains to The-Online.com and I’m now earning $0.20+ per click. Also the ads served by them are from Google Adsense and thus quite relevant. While godaddy’s cashparking charges you monthly/yearly basis but The-Online.com domain parking service is completely free. I’m thinking to transfer few domains for sale listed at dan.com and sav.com to The Online’s domain parking just generating more income online. Only drawback is they have slow support to approve domain names. But all 100% of my submitted domains got approved.

  3. Does The-Online.com approve adult or porn themed domains? Also, I’ve few domain names that had Google Adsense ads served but those sites got hit during Google’s March 2024 core update, so they lost visitors, can I park such domain names and earn money online through PPC ads?

  4. @Barry, I am afraid but the-online.com do not accept adult or porn themed domain names in their domain parking program. But they’ve another affiliate program like domain parking where you can park unused domains and they’ll redirect it to their homepage and when someone registers domain or purchases web hosting, wordpress hosting, vps, ssl, email or other product then they send you 50% commission of the sale. I’ve had parked many adult related domains and have earned $1200 in commission last year with The-Online.com affiliate program. You can try it. Also you can park any domain name with their domain-name parking program where that domain brings traffic. You can either advertise that domain on other search engines like Bing or DuckDuckGo or Yahoo and bring in traffic to you site that got hit during Google core update happened in March 2024. Not a big issue.
