Bitly is now adding ads within interstitial page
Bitly the free link shortener service provider is now insterting ads using interstitial page for those who are using Bitly’s free service. It seems bitly is not making money from their paid plans as they’re now asking users on free plan to upgrade to a paid plan or Bitly will add an interstitial page with ads (just like shrtfly / adsfly / shrinkme). Any good and clean alternative to Bitly link shortener?

Bitly will be showing ads and that will lower the click-through-ratio, neither they will be paying for the users nor giving a share of the earnings as many other link short-ener services. They lost their advantage over many other URL shorteners, not an ideal solution any longer so I’ll be moving my links to some other link shortener provider and not going to get a paid plan at Bitly.
I’m using Short.io with custom domain for free, works good for the $0 I pay. I think this is the best alternative to bitly / bit.ly
great suggestion
About bit.ly there are many good alternatives like tinyurl, shrtfly, lanza.me, ouo.io, exe.io, shrinkforearn, linkslice, etc. those url shorteners even pay for shortening links on free plan. But bitly does don’t pay!
Bitly link shortener links starts with https://bit.ly/m/ or just https://bit.ly/ ?
I suppose the URL starts with bit.ly/xxx if you’ve created a shortened link via their dashboard. And if you’ve made a bit-ly page (called as Bitly Pages or Landing Pages like linktr.ee) then that page with all external links is hosted on the bit.ly/m/
