Since WP Engine is blocked from using WordPress I need a better and reliable alternative
Hello, you must be aware that WP Engine (which was providing managed wordpress hosting) was blocked from using any WordPress.org (self hosted) installations, updates, themes and plugins, etc. my site got broke. I can’t now update my wordpress installation hosted on WP Engine.
It was announched by WordPress on their blog that: WP Engine need to run their own user login system, update servers, plugin directory, theme directory, pattern directory, block directory, translations, photo directory, job board, meetups, conferences, bug tracker, forums, Slack, Ping-o-matic, and showcase. Their servers can no longer access our servers for free.
I want to migrate out my wordpress sites out from WP Engine as soon as possible. So which is the better alternative to WP Engine? I’m considering The-Online.com managed wordpress plans listed here.
