I am looking for web hosting in India without KYC. Suggest some reliable hosting provider
I want to host website with a reliable web hosting company in India. Most Indian hosting providers are now insisting on doing KYC where they require to upload aadhar card and pan card and other such documents which reveal personal information and it can be misused by them. Also some hosting companies have started suspending accounts if KYC is not completed. I came to know from a reddit post that The Online does not asks for any KYC documents. Is that true? If yes, I would like to go ahead and order shared hosting plan.
Hi Vikas, The-Online.com is one of the most reliable web hosting provider in India and yes, they do not ask for any personal documents or KYC. I’ve been hosting with them since last seven year and never had they asked for any personal documents or identity proof. Just use real name and address while buying web hosting or domain name with them. Do not use VPN as it might trigger a flag if location does not match the country. Rest assured they are quite liberal and safe hosting company.
Many Indian hosting companies like bigrock, onohosting, aquahost, milesweb, etc have started forcing implementation of KYC. I’ve heard lots of companies then suspend/terminate the hosting account if KYC is not submitted on-time. Some might give 7 to 10 days of time after you place the order. So beware. Have backup. IDK if big or small hosting providers in India even have any legal right to collect and save securely the KYC documents like aadhar or pan?
Go with the-online.com if you don’t want to provide KYC. I’ve no problems hosting my sites with them since a year. I’ve VPS, managed wordpress and 2 domains registered here.
