.SU domains will close in year 2030. Shall I migrate to .RU?
Recently .SU domain names got a huge price hike. Originally .SU was meant for Soviet Union ccTLD, but since its fallout, .SU was not used much and only .SU domain were registered for criminal activities. I have an old .SU domain for my business site and the domain registration prices have shot up $99 per year. Moreover I came to know that .SU cctld will be going to shut down by year 2030 as ICANN moves to retire SU domain. Prices may increase further and after 2030 .SU domains will not resolve so they’ll not be available for registration or renewal. It will sunset. Can I migrate my site to better .RU domain managed by Russia or get .EU domain or .ASIA domain for my site? I know .COM is best and recognized worldwide but its already taken.
