Email Marketing for Photographers

Effective email marketing ideas for Photographers

I just got my photography website created using The-Online.com’s Website Builder and even added my entire portfolio of licensed images to it. Now I was looking for a great email tool that provides email marketing for photographers like me to reach the exact audience and make new sales. For that I got this email newsletter marketing service from The Online and I just embeded that email newsletter subscription form on my website. In the first month I got over 230 newsletter subscribers. Now was the time to market my images and photography to them. All I did was crafted a neat showcase newsletter and added few photos from my portfolio. The first image I gave it for free, so that newsletter subscribers can use the image on their own sites for non-commercial use. I tweaked the email newsletter title and found the bounce rate decreased. Also, I found email opening rate increased by 30% when I implemented a free image from my portfolio.

Hat tip: Include a mix of visuals, stories, and news to keep your subscribers engaged and informed. This is quite effective email marketing idea for photographers. I’ve seen people also forwarded my email to their peers and got new subscribers. Always include a “subscribe” link or button in the email so that people can easily subscribe to email newsletter and thus increase your reach and sales.
