Afternic completly acquires Dan.com
I just came to know the news that domain selling and buying platform Dan.com which was acquired by Godaddy in 2022 is now going to be fully mereged with another domain selling marketplace called “Afternic” which is also owned and operated by Godaddy. Dan.com has given 4 week notice either to self-migrate all domain names listed on Dan to Afternic or allow Dan to migrate account for you. This creates a new user account at afternic.com site. If Dan user does not want to migrate to Afternic then their domain listings on dan.com website will get de-listed after 4 weeks sometime in October. What if people already have a afternic account can will they able to consolidate domains under one afternic account?
