Jio Eat Food Delivery Fraud in India

Fraudlent website JioEat.in duped users ordering food online

Jio Eat is a new scam website where fraudster are using Reliance brand name to dupe customers who want to order food online.

How Jio Eat scam operates?

The Jio Eat site lures users with an offer of ordering any food item of up to Rs 500 for just Rs 99, along with free home delivery. The website then sends OTP to the user via their payment processor Razorpay to pay a huge amount like Rs 16,099 billed by the entity “CSC E GOVER”. An unsuspecting user might not look at the amount in the OTP SMS sent by JioEat.in and in hurry provide the OTP to complete the order.

JioEat.in a fake website to order food?

Yes. Upon inspecting the JioEat.in website which claims to sell food items from popular brands like Pizza Hut, Mc Donald’s, Dominos, Subway, Burger King, Momo and others, uses Reliance Jio logo on their fraudlent website. Lots of users in India who got duped by this scam food delivery site have now posted various social media posts on X, Facebook and Instagram including the screenshots. The Fraudsters running Jio Eat site have even posted Jio E-at marketing vidoes on Youtube!
