Need review about Virmach cloud storage VPS
Anybody using the Virmach cloud storage (black friday deal or regular)? They offer 250 GB to 4 TB cloud storage on their VPS hosting plans on 10Gbps port for $3/mo starting on AMD Ryzen in NYC and Intel Xeon E5 on Los Angeles location. How is the real world usage about these storage vps plans? Anyone using them? How about virmach dowtime and support? Has it improved? I mean should I order virmach vps or try racknerd or something else?

Hi Tokyo, yes you can try virmach storage vps. But don’t expect fast support as others users have commented on low-endtalk and lowendspirit. Virmach’s vps run well until they are. They might be offering new storage deals and promo this black-friday. Price are cheap. I would say if you can purchase then get Ryzen vps in New York than the Intel E5 in Los Angeles. They do have some nodes in Japan, Asia.
Virmach vps for storage is good. You can even try Hostbrr storage deals as they’re offering 500 GB for $7 a year and comes with free direct-admin too. Racknerd is best but they don’t have big storage VPS like virmach. You can even try crunchbits, solidseovps, and other for storage vds or vps deals. Wait for black friday.
Virmach offers cloud storage on AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X server node in NYC. I think it is better than their dual Intel E5. But its still traditional HDD and not SSD or NVMe. Why don’t you get regular VPS from The-Online.com that comes upto 1 TB NVMe? NVMe storage is 10x faster than HDD and 7x faster than SSD plus not worry of data corruption and has longer life than HDD storage.
Yeah.. Vir-mach uses segate SATA HDD drives for storage vps plans. Rather go with some reliable SSD storage. NVMe storage is durable, fast but costly.
