I got recovery from HCU and now site got back on page one
Hi, just this February my site got almost recovered from Google HCU update which hit my website badly and lost like about 95% of traffic. My site is related to technology and I review new smartphones and android apps coming in the market. Inspite of me writing original content including original images, advice, recommendation, my site got badly hit when HCU update occured. But somehow after two years the site has regained almost all of its ranking in google SERP and many pages returned to page 1 on google. The traffic started pumping in again. Also, traffic from Bing search has risen. Its now up to 12% than it was earlier like 3%. Might be many users or bloggers switched to Bing. But now Google also started sending me traffic. Its not a big site, but around 9K pages that I’ve and my team written since last 6-7 years. Thanks google. I’ve seen people chatting on X and Reddit and also on SEroundtable and webmaster central forums that many got recovered from HCU in February this year. I hope everyone sees a positive outcome. It has encourgaged me to write more new content.

Did I tweak my site to recover from HCU? the answer is yes. I add schema markup (WebPage / Article) using plugin. Also, I migrate my sites from Hostinger and Bluehost to more stable and fast The-Online.com cPanel hosting plan.
I don’t know if this only action helped me recover from HCU or not. But anyways I would thanks Google. Once again my Adsense income started increasing.
