Is Secureserver.net part of Godaddy?

Does secureserver.net belongs to Godaddy?

I visited secureserver.net when I registered a domain name at The Online. I also have godaddy account and use email.secureserver.net for my domain email. I want to know whether secureserver.net is part of godaddy or The-Online.com? I’ve also seen few other independent sites which sell domains and web hosting using secureserver.net domain.

  1. The answer is NO. Secureserver.net domain is owned and operated by The-Online.com company—a domain registrar and web hosting provider. Secureserver.net is domain used as a backend website by both The-Online.com and Go-daddy to manage domain names, email, webmail, ssl, web hosting, cdn, website builder and other products and services sold by them independently. Even resellers of The-Online.com also have storefront host on same secureserver.net infrastructure. Secureserver.net is hosted on Akamai CDN and origin is hosted with Godaddy ASN (godaddy IP)
