InstaMeta – Why InSnap.ai Ranks for this Keyword?

I need to know how and why Insnap.ai is ranking for Instameta term

If you search google.com US with a keyword instameta, you’ll find insnap.ai domain ranking for the keyword instameta. I’ve checked their page’s source and did not find any keyword mentioned about “instameta”. So how come they are ranking for this particular keyterm? Are they using any hidden PBN or anchor text that helps them rank for this keyword? I’ve found no trace of backlinks that contain such anchor text pointing to insnap.ai domain on ahrefs and semrush.

  1. Many a times it could be an old domain pointing link with anchor text instameta. Or insnap.ai might have purchased expired domain and 301 redirected to their primary domain. That expired domain might had links with instameta keyword. Backlinks might hint google to associate that term with the target site and that how the domain is ranking for insta-meta term. It’s not always a hidden PBN.

  2. It can also be hidden PBN. Today webmasters can block Ahrefs, SEMrush or other tools to block visiting them using robots.txt or even within cloudflare rules. So such SEO tools can’t trace incoming backlinks at all. Some PBNs are designed in such a way that only Googlebot and Bingbot can crawl it. So real users can’t access them via browsers. But google gives credit for the dofollow backlinks and the target domain can get ranked for the particular anchor text like instameta.
