Is Google Domains still selling domain names and domain registration service? I prefer Google more better than other registrars like Godaddy or Namecheap. But I can’t find Google selling domains anymore. I read an article that they sold domains business to Squarespace domains, then I went there to check the prices and they were too costly. Hi, Google Domains has closed down and they migrated all domains to Squarespace registrar. But yes the cost of Squarespace for registerring and renewing domains is too high. The best alternative could be Spaceship (but they’re sister company of Namecheap itself) or you can register and manage domain here at The-Online.com. They do have eaisest domain control panel, quick transfers, and easy renewal. You can also use promo and save while renewing domain. Savings can go around 30%. Other registrar is Porkbun, but they do ask for KYC so I’ll not suggest them. You can also try OVH domains from OVHcloud.
The Online is quite a reliable and reputed domain registrar similar to go-oogle domains and its been here since 2001 or earlier I suppose and I’m using them from past 6 years for domains and shared hosting. Squarespace is okayish service. Try Cloudflare registrar too. The only drawback they’ve is that you’ve to use Cloudflare’s DNS with domain registration. Else they’re good. Support is slow.
