What impact and effect are you seeing after the Google spam update roll out
Google Algorithm rolled its August 2025 Spam Update and it was about Google penalizing and removing spam content and spam backlinks that help sites rank in SERP. I’ve seen boost in rankings for 2 for my sites. One is tech related and other is original recipe site. Both got boost and recoverd from earlier Google Core updates. My GSC reports are showing over 70% boost in impressions and clicks and ranking positions have increased from page three to page two and in some cases page one.
Whereas, many spam sites publishing not-helpful content, only AI generated content are seeing de-ranked. I am tracking over handful of such sites including news and media site, personal blogs, PBN, and ecommerce site that had thin content and which was kind of spam as it was not related to original post. Well, I am noticing a huge climb in search engine rankings. Nearly 40% more traffic after this Google August spam-update taken place. Also I’ve found many spam blogs and PBN sites getting tanked in ranking. May be my boost and ranking increased because Google algorithm penalised those spam website and their spam techniques that helped them with high ranking and abusing their position and authority!
