What is this charge on my credit card bank statement abount dnh domain hosting?
I recently received my credit card statement from bank where I was charged $24 USD and the merchant name was printed as dnh domain hosting 480-624-2500 AZ on it. I do not remember from purchasing anything from dnh domain hosting company as I’ve only one domain name registered with The-Online.com and cPanel hosting plan bought here itself. So is this charge (for renewal or purchase) is applied by The Online hosting company? Can anybody tell me about it?
Yes, when you purchase a web hosting service or domain name at The-Online.com website you’re billed by external biller with a merchant name dnh domain hosting 480-624-2500 and it appears on your credit card bank statements as well as pay-pal or other payment methods. Please note that this charge is genuine and may apply if you opt-in for auto-renewal of your products and services. In case you forgot your username or password you can easily retrive it. This biller or merchant is also used by various domain resellers and other companies who also use wild-west domains as their sponsoring registrar. So you’ll need a numerical customer number to identify yourself from which re-seller or hosting provider you had made a purchase if your customer number is not on record with The-Online.com company.
I can confirm that dn-h domain hosting is used by The-Online.com as everytime I purchase domains or hosting account I’m billed with this merchant name. Even their independent resellers use the same biller name and even other reseller of wild west domains, llc use dnh domain hosting as name on bank statement. So better to identify which company did you purchase domain or hosting services as if you’ve contacted wrong company they’ll take time to resolve you issue. I read somewhere that if you chargeback you’ll be levied a $150 additional fee on your card. So better to resolve and ask for refund from correct hosting provider or their reseller.
