Buying .in domain name at cheapest price
My business is based in India, its a local business, so I want to register India’s ccTLD, that is, .in domain name. Where can I buy cheapest .in domain from a local Indian registrar? I’ve checked the .in promo from The-Online.com here. It cost $4.99 for one year of .in registration which is about INR 400 which seems cheaper than other providers like namecheap, godaddy and bigrock. But the domain renewal price is not Rs 400? Is this price only valid on 1st year of domain registration? Any other domain registrar or reseller providing cheaper rates?

Their renew price is $7 so you pay around INR 750 during renewal. Many Indian registrars charge very high price for domain renewals. better avoid them. I’ve 2 .in domains registered here since last 5 years and prices are still the same. Though the promo is sometimes gone. so in my opinion cheap-est domain company in India is The-Online.com
