My movie streaming site got removed from Bing search
I’ve a movie streaming site hosted here with The-Online.com from last 4 years. I’ve not got any DMCA take down notice or anything similar copyright infringement notices in past 6 months. Yet Bing decided to completly remove my site from Bing search engine. It does not even appear in Bing webmaster tool anymore! Right now the site has zero indexed pages in Bing search. There were earlier 700 pages indexed. How to resolve this?
Actually sometime search engines like Google and Bing remove the entire site if they receive multiple DMCA notices filed by movie companies or their copyright agents. When web hosting companies like the-online.com do not take down the infringing content then the copyright holders might directly file take down notice with Bing and they’ll remove those pages from search engines. You can go to Bing webmaster tools > copyright removal notices page and check which URLs are flagged and got removed. If you entire domain is removed, then use new domain name to re-index those movie streaming web pages!
Even my movie-streaming site’s page impressions and clicks suddenly dropped to zero in bing webmaster tools. then I came to know my site got hit with a penalty from Bing. I had contacted their support and they said its been removed from the search engine results. So I just created new domain, few backlinks, and re-submitted new site to bing-webmaster-tools and it started getting impressions and clicks again.
Bing is quite strict about illegal movie streaming sites and will often remove those URLs or entire sites and your bing webmaster tool will not show any notification or message! If you can’t find your site in Bing search, sure it has got penalised!
