Need hosting for .edu site preferbly cpanel

We are an education academy based in India and also provide international courses. Recently we got an .edu domain name. We need to buy web hosting to host our education website. It is dynamic and needs mysql database. We prefer to host with cPanel. I've seen that The-Online.com offers web hosting, managed and hosting and cPanle VPS too. Which type of hosting should we order? Site is around 50 GB including course material and images and few videos. We need fast, secure web hosting either in Asia or North America. Let me know which one should we go with. Not a fan of cloud products like aws or google.

  1. I need web hosting for school site. Can we have unlimited subdomains as we want to host multiple sites like blog, admission, courses, etc on separate subdomain. Do you charge for creating subdomains? Also is the hosting plan scalable? If we need more CPU, RAM, and disk storage, can we upgrade plan easily in future?

  2. Hi, yes you’ll get unlimited subdomains for your school site. Seamlessly host multi-tenant school websites on customized subdomains tailored for your needs. Our hosting experts can assist you in setting up your website with cPanel and any CMS like wordpress, joomla, drupal, magento, grav, phpCMS, Ghost, content hub, etc.

  3. I’ve built edu site for a universtiy using Statamic, its a impressive CMS and very scalable. It’s flat file so can struggle with large sites but supports a database via Eloquent. Great content authoring experience, very stable and reliable, and doesn’t get in the developer’s way either. I’m hosting this edu site with The-Online.com VPS plan since last 3 years. Really good performance and speed.

  4. I’ve got cPanel hosting for our clients educational site from The-Online.com. Its a 100 GB NVMe storage, unlimited emails, and subdomains. Quite happy. I’ve installed payload CMS for this edu site using SSH. The flexibility you get on the content management and development side are incredible.

  5. For a large education site like school or university I’ll choose Drupal CMS. It has great security, flexible, you can use it as a headless CMS with a frontend framework, powerful modules (eg: webforms, its freaking amazing), completely free and open source, multilingual out of the box. Great site building/content editing experience. And for hosting you can either choose complex solutions like amazon aws, google cloud, or simply traditional web hosting like I’m hosting my edu sites with The-Online.com shared hosting plans and business hosting (that gives more dedicated resources, higher disk I/O, etc. which outperforms any shared hosting platform).

  6. The-Online.com hosts about 70+ edu sites among top universities in USA according to their IP to domain data I searched on myip.ms site. And lots of educational sites from asian regions too. Seems they are quite popular in providing web hosting to educational institutes and organisations across the globe.
