Google To Host Creator Conversion Event At GooglePlex Later This Month
Search engine operator Google is going to host Google Search Web Creator Conversion Event (creator summit) at googleplex in this month. It’s an invite-only web creator conversion event to be hosted at end of this month. This creator event is focused around small and mid-size publishers, content creators, and bloggers and ofcourse Google Search and search rankings as reported by seroundtable here.
Do you think this will make any long term difference for those writing heartfelt and helpful content? Many a sites that feel they were wrongly affected by the latest round of Google algorithm updates, and to get a better feel for how Google does things, and hopefully some breadcrumbs as to what can be done to overall improve ALL of our sites is what one attendee is interested in!
The agenda of this Host Creator Conversion Event by Google Search:
- How Google search is built to benefit searchers: In this session, we’ll learn how Google creates, tests and refines ranking systems with the goal of providing useful, satisfying search results.
- Google Want’s To Hear from Creators. This session is devoted to allowing creators an opportunity to share thoughts, feedback, concerns – whatever is on our minds – to those who work at Google Search. This session will be livestreamed to Google employees not in attendance.
Yes, on October 28/29 I’ll be heading out to Google’s Campus for a (invite-only) Creator Summit. Gathering my thoughts, but I’m excited to have an opportunity to interface in-person with Google Search Liaison (Danny Sullivan) and the Google team around search and publishing.
Sometimes I feel like I’m venting a little too much, and I’m glad that Google is making an attempt to hear from us, the publishers and content writers, and how algorithm has not only impacted us, but our people and jobs in the publishing space, mostly small publishers and affiliate sites.
I do wonder how those invites were chosen, were they randomly chosen or chosen because they shouted loudest on social media?
