Telegram App Blocked in India

Government bans Telegram app in India

Indian government has issued orders to block access to Telegram app in India. Telegram is now banned in India. Its a temporary ban so all Telegram channels and profiles including access is now offline. This restriction was ordered by the Indian government and upheld by the Delhi High Court to prevent exam fraud and paper leaks ahead of the nationwide NEET-UG re-examination. The app’s message editing feature is disabled globally until June 30. Also, Telegram app has been temporarily removed from Google Play store and Apple App store in the region. Full access and app store availability are expected to resume after June 22 when NEET re-examination gets over.
