I am looking for a good web hosting provider in Tamil Nadu, India
Need to migrate to better web hosting that offers cPanel, NVMe storage, and Unmetered bandwidth. Currently hosting with tamil nadu based Mumuhost. Their one month price is quite expensive and I can’t lock-in for a three year term as they are new. Many of my friends suggested to host production-sites with some reliable Indian hosting providers. I am not a fan of bigrock, hostingraja, or milesweb, but need quite reliable host like godaddy or the-online.com or even smaller provider in Tamil Nadu itself. Location is not that important, but uptime and support that helps with plugins, and site issues is must. I’ve also read reviews about MDD hosting but they are 5x expensive. So what you guys suggest? My budget is INR 100 a month.
MDD hosting is indeed very expensive, like $20 per month (INR 2000 approx.) but they do help you out if you have site issues related to theme, plugins, wordpress core, etc. Usually big web hosting companies like bluehost, bigrock, milesweb, even godaddy, would not provide support beyond their server or network. The-Online.com is mid-size web host, have offices in India, and they do help with wordpress issues. I’ve being hosting with them for quite some time. Hostingraja is big no-no. I’ve got acquired by U.S based provider and service has gone down.
I moved from chennaihost to square brothers. They are much better.
Where is the-online.com’s office situated in Tamil Nadu? or they have datacenter / server?
the-online.com does have office in Tamil Nadu located at: 1st Floor, Siri Towers, 3 & 4, Fourrts Ave, Annani Indira Nagar, Muttukkaranchavadi, Thoraipakkam, Chennai, 600097. Its just next to sixth star technologies. They have servers in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore as of now. IDK about whether they’re having in Tamil Nadu.
