Need to migrate my VPS hosting from HostAfrica to cheaper cPanel VPS provider
I have VPS hosting plan with HostAfrica company. Their cPanel license price for cPanel VPS has increased upto $66/mo for hosting 100 domains (cpanel subaccounts). So I need a cheaper option to my VPS. A friend of mine recommeded me to buy VPS from The-Online.com as they charge $12.99/mo for cPanel license and allow upto 100 cPanel accounts. Is that true? Is that genuine cPanel? Let me know so I can purchase VPS hosting here and start migrating from hostafrica.
I’ve quite earlier migrated my vps hosting from hostafrica to The-Online.com when cPanel increased their prices and the license got expensive. Since The Online is using their upstream’s cPanel licensing so their price is very cheap. My cPanel VPS here just cost $12.99 per month on top of their regular VPS price. You can host up to 100 cPanel sub accounts easily.
I am from Kenya, Africa. How is the latency and network of The-Online.com’s VPS. They’ve U.S, Europe and Asia locations. A web developer friend using their VPS says the latency is less than 70ms if I order VPS in EU. right? Or will U.S to Africa will be better?
cost of vps as well as shared and wordpress hosting with host-africa is expensive. There was whogohost (go54) but they too were acquired by hostafrica. So not much reliable and cheap hosting companies left in Africa.
