Google Core Update Rolling out on November 2024
Google has started rolling out its third core update for the year 2024 in month of November. It has started on 11th and will take two weeks to complete. Unlike the March Core update which took whooping 45 days to complete. I’m seeing my 3 websites (1 based on wordpress CMS, and other two PHP) to recover a little bit on 12th itself according to statcounter stats my website unique visitors have increased from 1700 daily as on 10th November to 2200 on 11th and 12th evening. This could be the first impression of core update or HCU recovery. Earlier before HCU update I had around 9000 daily unique visitors. So lets keep fingres crossed that independent webmasters, bloggers and content developers like me having niche and informational sites written from our own expertise recover at least 50% to 70% in this November 2024 core update from Google search. I’m keeping eye on discussion held on X, webmasterworld, seroundtable and other SEO forums as well as Reddit.

This update is designed to continue our work to improve the quality of our search results by showing more content that people find genuinely useful. I’m seeing a bit of increased traffic to some of my money sites. Well, lets say its 2x the traffic than on November 10th. But let us wait until this core up-date fully finishes to see if we recovered or not yet!
I’m not seeing big, but 15% spike in my sites’ traffic from last night. And its still increasing.
I too see some positive movement from my analytics but it is hard to say within just 24 hours after the release of this core update.
Hope we see recovery from last March core update and August core update. I’ll be watching my analytics closely. I’ve over 7 sites that got hit from last core update and HCU.
I am seeing my tech site hosted at The-Online.com gaining spike in traffic from 11th November night. I had recently migrated it from bluehost
I’m seeing some positive movements (increase in traffic) this early morning for local organic ranking for the following sectors (mostly USA and Canada): Landscaping, HVAC, Psychologist, local furniture maker, renovation contractors.
