After getting deindexed GeeksforGeeks launches New domain
GeeksforGeeks.org (GKG) was a computer science portal for geeks mostly targetted towards educating coders, web development, and courses related to computer management recently got its domain name completely deindexed and banned by google as they added thin content, offtopic and unrelated content to education niche. GKG had traffic of almost 70M visits a month which got completly wiped out. Now it seems they were able to index a new domain name called geeksforgeeks.online as the homepage seems to be indexed in google.
GeeksforGeeks was acutally a good site to learn about coding and all compute-r related stuff. It was there bad move to write about the topics unrelated to their niche or topical authority. Thereby they spammed google search results with articles written on topics like movies, games, etc. Hope we can see goog-le indexing the new geeksforgeeks.online domain name if they’ve removed the thin and offtopic content.
On what topics did geeksforgeeks actually rank for? I had seen them ranking on keywords related to python, C++, java, etc. Can anybody put up the list of terms they wrote articles on?
