Ezoic vs Adsense – Which one should I use?

Which ad network will increase my RPM ezoic or adsense? I am using adsense from past 7 years and my RPM has dropped to $9 this month. I was considering to switch to Ezoic ad network. But few friends suggested to stay with Adsense as Ezoic takes their cut in commission and also does Adsense so what goes into my pocket could be less earning than Adsense. Also, Ezoic uses auto ads to insert ads into my site which now-a-days adsense can also do quite smartly. So is there any advantage to migrate to Ezoic from adsense? Or shall I stay with adsense itself and improve the RPM?
