Need cPanel reseller hosting plan with dedicated resources
I want to shift my cpanel reseller hosting to more fast, reliable and affordable web host. Since cPanel is increasing their license fees every year, I need a cheap reseller hosting solution. I’ve come across The-Online.com VPS plans (with dedicated RAM) that offers WHM and cPanel license for $14/mo and can host 400 sub-accounts or cPanel accounts is that true? How much price should I pay per month if I buy VPS for cPanel reseller hosting business? And which package should i purchase? I think 2 CPU, 4GB RAM, 100 GB NVMe SSD storage is good point to start. I’ve 170 cPanel accounts on my shared hosting company. Most of them are wordpress and static ones.

I’ve got VPS from the-online.com here for my cPanel reseller hosting business. The 2 CPU, 4 GB RAM, 100 GB storage server was sufficient for hosting up to 100 cPanel accounts and about 120 websites. The CPU was hitting 90% continously so I upgraded to next VPS plan which comes with 4 CPU, 8GB RAM, 200 GB NVMe SSD storage for $50/month plus $14/month cPanel license fee. This server is super-fast as good as dedicated server and now my CPU usage for 100+ cPanel acccounts is just 60%. I’ve got two such plans from the-online.com, on one I’m reselling litespeed cpanel shared hosting, and on another its Apache cpanel hosting both on Almalinux OS.

I don’t think you can run more than 100 cPanel accounts (or sub accounts) on 2 CPU server. Yes, you can start with it and as you grow your cpanel reseller business and get more customers then you need to upgrade to 4 CPU and 8 GB RAM plan servers. I suggest you should get 8 CPU plan if you want to expand your business. You can host up to 400 cPanel accounts on 8 CPU, 16 GB RAM VPS and pay just $14/month for cPanel license.
I’m having 4 CPU VPS plan for my cPanel reseller hosting company. I have only 70 customers, so 70 cPanel accounts are sufficient for me. The-Online.com’s VPS with cPanel are giving best performance than the usual cPanel reseller business that give us shared web hosting server which is oversold and overcrowded with 1200+ accounts and sites. Earlier I had one with buyshared and skynethosting and the servers were damn slow.

The server s are reliable with 100% uptime since last 7 months. In fact their VPS line is quite premium for starting cpanel reseller hosting business. My monthly bill for single plan is around $45 and I sell cPanel hosting for $3 per month with 5 GB, 10 GB, 20 GB plans. With 100 cPanel accounts sold 100×3= $300 is my income and expenses are just $45, that is $255 profit.
Can some one tell me if I get a VPS with cPanel to start my cPanel reseller business, is overselling allowed? Can I sale more disk space than my plan? Normally, web hosts don’t allow overselling on their cPanel reseller plans. How about The-Online.com?
I’m having reseller cpanel hosting with RackNerd. I’m paying $15/mo for 20 cpanel accounts which is costly if compared to the-online.com vps for $45 with 400 cpanel accounts. Plus racknerd does not allows overselling. I think i need to migrate.
I migrated from host25cents. though their reseller cpanel plans seem cheap they have many downtime every week. Needed some reliable hosting with 100% uptime. Glad i moved to the-online.com vps plan and now using WHM to resell cpanel accounts. The servers are really fast and have optimum performance for hosting wordpress sites.
How to really start cpanel reseller hosting here at The-Online.com? If I am not wrong I need to order a VPS, may be 4 CPU or 8 CPU, and also buy WHM/Cpanel license during VPS purchase and it automatically set up OS, Apache server, PHP, MySQL, and installs WHM Cpanel for me? I am correct?

resellerclub’s cpanel reseller plans are becoming expensive day by day. the-online.com vps with cpanel / whm is affordable, actually quite cheaper than what I tried before like shockhosting, skynethosting, asura hosting, and even some indian web hosts like bigrock and milesweb. The quantity of cPanel accounts on reseller hosting plans are becoming less every year and price is increasing. Glad i could host up to 400 cpanel accounts on a 8 CPU VPS, its as good as getting an Intel E3 v4 dedicated server.
