16 months of search performance data in Bing
Bing Webmaster Tools just announced that they have added 16 months of data to search performance report inside the dashboard of Bing Webmaster Tools. This is 10 more months of data, up from 6 months of data. Google gave us 16 months of data back in 2018. Bing originally promised 24 months of data which didn’t happen.
They’ve also added Copilot section to webmaster tools where you can ask Copilot questions about your data. Microsoft is also doing a super limited test of having Copilot added to Bing Webmaster Tools, where you can ask Copilot questions about your data.
Bing also added the new Recommendations Section. Recommendations should provide you with “personalized and actionable insights that help you optimize your website for maximum visibility and performance.”

Bing should have provider 24 or 36 months of data, more than what Google search console provides for better understanding the performance of websites.
I think copilot should be fully intergrated into Bing webmaster tools. We bloggers need to know how many users have visited our site if it was suggested via copilot / AI and also how much of our website content was shown in copilot Q&A
