This API is based on SerpAPI&#8217;s own index and it seems they&#8217;ve crawled and indexed billions of URLs. It is still not known which User-Agent they&#8217;ve used to crawl URLs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;<strong>Search Index API<\/strong>&nbsp;is SerpApi&#8217;s own, LLM-first web index with billions of pages indexed. No proxies and no external search API calls at query time. Results come back as structured JSON, not a webpage to scrape or parse. Good fit for AI grounding pipelines, reproducible benchmark datasets, and search automation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How To Access Search Index API <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To access Search Index API from <a href=\"https:\/\/the-online.com\/#serpapi\">SerpAPI<\/a> use the folllowing API endpoint: \u00a0<code>https:\/\/serpapi.com\/search?engine=search_index<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">JSON output includes structured data for organic search results. Note that this Search In-dex API does not have a full HTML response, only text. Also, there is markdown output which is optimized for LLMs and AI agents.
